Pasadena Community Job Center

  • Pasadena Community Job Center 500 North Lake Avenue Pasadena, CA, 91101 United States (map)

The Pasadena Community Job Center is a member of the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON), an alliance of more than 42 worker centers and other member organizations dedicated to creating daily, temporary and permanent employment opportunities for day laborers, with fair wages and safe working conditions. The Center’s ultimate goal is to enable every day laborer to earn a living, contribute to society, and integrate into the community.

Bringing people together to get jobs done. That’s what the Pasadena Community Job Center is all about. We connect members of the community— residential customers and small business owners— with other members of the community: skilled, hardworking day laborers whom you can depend on. Painters. Gardeners. Roofers. Movers. Drywall installers. Cleaning men and women. Carpenters. Bricklayers. Child and elderly care workers. They all come to the Center hoping to find a temporary job. And all are ready and able to work at a moment’s notice.

Volunteer physical therapists and physical therapy students will be working together to treat the primarily Spanish-speaking day laborers in 15-minute therapy sessions. Volunteer physical therapists are also welcome to treat patients in this setting on their own.

For SPTs: 1 clinical rotation experience preferred.
